Some parties ask you to bring a dish or a gift. This free event asks that you bring a game to share with the community. Our Games Changers Gathering is half workshop, half celebration, all facilitator fun. TONYC Jokers will facilitate a couple of activities and then turn the floor over to attendees to practice facilitating group games and icebreakers that excite you, terrify you or both. Feel free to try out something you learned at a TONYC workshop or something you read about in one of Boal’s books. Don’t know any Theatre of the Oppressed games? That’s more than fine. We are here to help you think through how any game you know might be used to spark dialogue about the things we want to change in the world.
