To ensure your space in the theatre, please arrive before 2ppm and check out our Advocacy Fair (1pm-2pm) where you'll have an opportunity to connect with organizations doing work around anti-violence, youth justice, and the school-to-prison pipeline.

Theatre of the Oppressed NYC presents the 5th annual Legislative Theatre Festival, bringing together community members, legislators and policymakers together in creative dialogue about the policies and laws that affect New Yorkers.

Watch actors perform stories about their real life experiences.
Act out your ideas and work together to find solutions.
Vote on proposed policy changes and make your voice heard by city legislators.

Join us at BRIC on Saturday, May 13th at 2pm for a performance by the Crown Heights Mediation Center Troupe, addressing community safety and the school-to-prison pipeline.
