Here's your chance to learn more about the games of Theatre of the Oppressed, meet other volunteers, and give feedback about your volunteer experience. We'll bring the food and drinks (let me know us if you have any dietary restrictions)!

TO Games: Beyond the Basics

Join TONYC jokers Mike Gonzalez and Gariyana Williams for a workshop on Theatre of the Oppressed games that engage movement and power dynamics, and discussion on how TONYC jokers apply each activity within rehearsals. Mike and Gariyana will be drawing from games they learned while attending the 2018 Muktadara Festival in India, as well as movement and power games that are not included in TONYC's Introductory Workshops.

This workshop is open to volunteers from last fall and this spring only. If you would just like to attend the celebration, the party starts at 7:30pm!
