This workshop has been adapted from our historical Level Two training.
This 8-hour intensive workshop is designed for those looking to deepen their facilitation skills in Theatre of the Oppressed. In Forum Facilitation Lab: Advanced Joker Training, participants will practice leading parts of a Forum Theatre session, focusing on "Jokering" techniques to effectively engage with diverse spect-actors and navigate a range of interventions. Through hands-on exercises, role-playing, and real-time feedback, you'll gain confidence in guiding dynamic, unpredictable performances that explore and challenge social issues. By the end of the day, you'll leave with refined skills to handle different audience dynamics and drive meaningful dialogue and change through theatre.
