Legislative Theatre Part 2: Rally on Housing and Homelessness

At the 4th Annual Legislative Theatre Festival, actors and audiences created the following policy proposals, now let's make them happen!

• "Ban the Box" asking about criminal records on housing applications.
• Raise the age of youth housing from 21 to 25, and fund wraparound services for homeless youth up to age 25.
• Improve caseworker certification requirements for LGBTQ homeless youth service providers.

Join us on the steps of City Hall (250 Broadway) on Tuesday, May 24th at 11am to amplify and push these proposals. Featuring speakers and performers from Ali Forney Center, The Fortune Society, VOCAL-NY and NYC Council.
