Theatre of the Oppressed NYC presents the 5th annual Legislative Theatre Festival, bringing together community members, legislators and policymakers together in creative dialogue about the policies and laws that affect New Yorkers.

Watch actors perform stories about their real life experiences.
Act out your ideas and work together to find solutions.
Vote on proposed policy changes and make your voice heard by city legislators.

Join us at University Settlement on Wednesday, May 10th at 7pm for a performance by Concrete Justice, addressing cultural equity and access for low-income New Yorkers. Come an hour early for an Advocacy Fair, to learn more from organizations and activists doing work around economic justice and grassroots arts!
