Have you ever struggled to secure somewhere to live? With constantly rising rents, every New Yorker knows the pain of finding a place to call home. In FIGHT OR FLIGHT, our Housing Works Troupe explores how housing insecurity is amplified when intersecting with a lack of mental health support, and prejudice in our criminal justice system. Join us November 20th from 6-7:30pm at the Housing Works Bookstore and Cafe for an original performance based on real life experiences, and learn more about joining the fight for equitable housing in NYC and beyond!

This show is part of TONYC's fall 2024 season, Uppercuts to Budget Cuts, which is dedicated to exploring community strategies for navigating systemic under-resourcing and building connections to help sustain each other.

Theatre of the Oppressed NYC invites you to make a donation to our fall fundraising campaign, Uppercuts to Budget Cuts. In the past four years, operational expenses have drastically increased, but our grant funding has not. Through a team of supporters, we are aiming to raise $60,000 in the final months of the year. A donation of any amount will support our organization through a shifting funding landscape.

COVID policy: In order to keep our actors and staff safe, we ask that attendees please wear masks at all times inside the venue, unless they have received a negative COVID test result within the last 24 hours.
