Join us for our Housing Works Troupe's newest show, Sticks & Stones & Broken Systems, which questions the role of the individual in institutions of power. How do loopholes in the system or personal bias affect the service you receive? This performance includes two forum scenes: one that highlights the challenges of dealing with landlords and lawyers when faced with housing displacement, and one that addresses the effects of bias that can be held by social service workers.

Note about tickets: Theatre of the Oppressed NYC is thrilled to offer Pay-What-You-Can tickets to this performance. Please pay the amount that feels appropriate for you based on your financial means, the value you wish to receive, or your desire to support TONYC. All donations support our work, paying for rehearsal and performance spaces, transportation, actor and Joker salaries, props and costumes, and so much more. You can make a contribution here.

COVID policy: In order keep our actors and staff safe, we ask that attendees please wear masks at all times inside the venue, unless they have received a negative COVID test result within the last 24 hours. We also encourage attendees to maintain six feet of social distance when possible.
