Legislative Theatre Festival: Queens

Legislative Theatre Festival: Queens

Theatre of the Oppressed NYC presents the 5th annual Legislative Theatre Festival, bringing together community members, legislators and policymakers together in creative dialogue about the policies and laws that affect New Yorkers.

Watch actors perform stories about their real life experiences.
Act out your ideas and work together to find solutions.
Vote on proposed policy changes and make your voice heard by city legislators.

Join us at the Queens Museum on Sunday, May 7th at 2pm for a performance by the AIDS Center of Queens County Troupe, addressing immigration, housing, and labor rights.
